Most webinar programs are built on assumptions. This report tests them.

We surveyed 1,000 global attendees on what they say they want from webinars. Then we compared that against real Zoom Webinars platform data on how audiences actually behave. The gap between the two is where most programs are losing attendance, engagement, and repeat viewers, and it’s the basis for six new rules for building webinar programs that perform.

Inside, you’ll find:

  • Why 68% of no-shows blame a schedule conflict, not a lack of interest
  • Why “fireside chat” events draw 64% attendance vs. just 50% for “webinar”
  • Why you have less than a week to capture replay viewers (median: 3.7 days), and how to use that window
  • Why only 22% of attendees ever return for a second event, and what the best-performing hosts do differently
