New clinical study shows Hinge Health saves $3,289 annually for members aged 65+

In a third-party analysis of 5,502 Medicare Fee for Service beneficiaries comparing Hinge Health members to a matched, control group of nonparticipants, our members saved $3,289 per member per year, resulting in 3.3x gross ROI.

Highlights from the study:

  • The control group had 6.3x more surgeries and 2.6x more PT visits than the Hinge Health group.
  • Higher odds of completing Hinge Health’s core 12-week program for adults aged 65+ as compared to younger adults.
  • Reduced spend on hospital inpatient / outpatient facilities and professional services from specialists were the main drivers of cost savings.
