To separate from its parent company, Clarios needed to design and deliver a new IT infrastructure against an aggressive deadline. The initiative saw Clarios implement modernized IT services, including hybrid infrastructure, Microsoft Azure and device-as-a-service deployments, all delivered ahead of schedule and under budget.

Together, Clarios and NTT DATA worked to:

• Deployed 75% enterprise applications to Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Rehosted and refactored 200 applications on Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Deployed new IT infrastructure four months early and 8% under budget
• Created Device as a Service fulfillment for 16,000 global employees
• Developed new hybrid and colocation environments
• Created a new integration Platform-as-a-Service for over 300 interfaces
• Created a cloud-enabled data warehouse and data lake

Clarios successfully met the challenge of building all new infrastructure and security, migrating more than 800 applications, launching new services and moving thousands of e-mail accounts, PCs and phones.
