Reduce power consumption of HVAC systems
When designing or upgrading a building, several areas require significant engineering to ensure they can operate sustainably. One of these areas is the chilled water system for air conditioning. In these systems, the pumping energy can account for up to 10 percent of the power required to run the system.
Newer system designs are required to meet or exceed pumping power limitations set out by the government and industry to improve the efficiency of air-conditioning systems.
Download this technical article to learn how the investigation of pumping strategies early on during HVAC design helps to reduce cost and power consumption.
